KEVORK GEORGE YANAR, CPA

Kevork George Yanar is a Certified Public Accountant and he has been providing consulting, tax and accounting services for over 30 years to individuals and closely held businesses. Industries served are primarily manufacturing, retail, wholesale, transportation, food, real estate, health care, engineering, jewelry and non-profit.

His previous positions in the auditing department of a mid-sized CPA firm in New York City for 15 years and as a controller in private industry earned him the experience needed to serve his clients as a trusted business advisor.

He earned his Bachelor in Science Degree in Economics from Faculty of Economics, University of Istanbul with two minors in Management and Statistics. He also earned his Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) from Bristol Polytechnic, England. He studied Advanced Accounting, Auditing, Business Law, U.S. Taxation and American Government at Pace University and Baruch College in New York.

He is a member of New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).

He served as a Treasurer in numerous non-profit organizations and has been a Member of Auditing Committee of a church, and PTA’s of public schools on a voluntary basis. He has also served as an Assistant Scoutmaster and a Treasurer of a local Boy Scout Pack and a Troop for numerous years.
